Legislation would expand AZ loan-forgiveness program
Tags: arizona legislature, stem educationA bill introduced in Arizona would extend a current student loan-forgiveness for math, science, and special-education teachers to those with any specialization who teach in geographical regions with significant teacher shortages. Bill supporters say it would spur hiring in areas of critical need and in the schools that need them most.
