NSF invites proposals for its Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement program to improve the quality of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education for all undergraduate students.
It funds projects that develop faculty expertise, implement educational innovations, assess learning and evaluate innovations, prepare K-12 teachers, or conduct research on STEM teaching and learning.
Up to 108 awards are anticipated from a FY10 funding pool of $35.8 million. Eligibility is unrestricted. Type 1 Proposals (those requesting under $200,000 for 2 to 3 years) are due May 21 and 22, depending on state name.
