Three Days in a Petri Dish
Discover the underlying world of microbes - microscopic organisms that live on and all around us. Science campers will investigate the important functions of these tiny creatures and design investigations using them to create food products like bread, cheese and yogurt. They will learn how marvelous microbes are essential for ensuring personal health, and even breaking down hazardous products. Campers will participate in hands-on biology and chemistry experiments that relate to their everyday lives, all under the roof of the awesome Arizona Science Center.
Age Group: Junior Scientists Ages 8-10; Researchers Ages 10-11
Location: Arizona Science Center
Cost & Times Members: $120; Non-members: $135
March 11 - 13, Wednesday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m (early drop off at 8 a.m. and late pick-up at 5 p.m. will be offered for an additional $10 per day)
