College Depot at the Burton Barr Central Library is now open to the public. The Grand opening took place on the morning of June 10th with several hundred supporters including Mayor Phil Gordon and the Phoenix City Council members attending. The program is designed to provide college planning to students of all ages to increase the college-going rate for Phoenix. Complete with curriculum and advisors, College Depot seeks to create a fundamental shift in the way students view higher education from an hard-to-reach goal to the next step after high school.
