Dobson H.S. senior finishes prestigious internship
[Source: The Arizona Republic] - Dobson High senior Varun Patel participated this summer in a prestigious internship at the Banner Sun Health Research Institute in Sun City, where he helped mimic heart disease in rats.
Sixteen high school and college undergraduates were chosen from hundreds of applications.
The students interned for eight weeks at the Institute, where they shadowed and helped medical researchers involved in a variety of research areas including cardiovascular diseases.
