[Source: The Arizona Republic] - Big smiles, handshakes and hugs marked the end of Thursday's upbeat meeting of the Chandler City Council at which the approval of several key projects signaled a resurgence in the city's development.
"Chandler is open for business," council member Rick Heumann said. He repeated his upbeat message after the meeting, saying, "We're definitely not out of the woods, but we're going in the right direction. Quality jobs will help get us out of the recession quicker than a lot of others."
