Tags: catapult bio, incubator[Source: You West Valley.com] - Sun Citians will be leaned on heavily by a new venture being launched in Surprise to help entrepreneurs and business owners grow their companies.
The city of Surprise’s AZ TechCelerator is a “a business incubator that provides resources and expertise, connection to capital, and hopefully helping the community (with employment), and flexible office space,” said Jeanine Jerkovic, economic development manager and manager of the program.
About 20 prospective businesses attended an open house and workshop Thursday where they learned more about the free rent for furnished office suites and other resources available to them, including a community of retiree volunteers. The program’s focus is to help launch businesses focusing on bio science, sustainability and information technologies.
