ASU students, staff get vaccinated against swine flu
Tags: arizona state university, infectious disease[Source: ABC 15] - High risk students, faculty and staff at Arizona State University received vaccinations for the H1N1 virus on campus Wednesday and Thursday.
ASU spokesperson Julie Newberg said those receiving the vaccinations include students, faculty and staff who are pregnant; obese; have heart disease; lung disease; asthma; kidney or liver disease; diabetes or metabolic disease; anemia or blood disorder; or other immune-compromising conditions. The vaccines are being given until 4 p.m. Thursday at the Tempe Campus Health Service outside in a tent near the University footbridge.
