SFAz seeks better connections between business, education in Grand Challenge
Tags: sfaz[Source; Phoenix Business Journal] - Science Foundation Arizona is hoping to build a stronger bridge between technology and education with its annual Grand Challenges Conference next week.
Building a better base of educated professionals -- particularly those with degrees in science, technology, engineering and math, known in tech circles as STEM -- and trying to retain those workers in the state are building blocks of economic development.
