Glendale Community College has introduced its first biotechnology class to address the needs of West Valley students interested in the growing biotech field and to provide a skilled workforce of lab personnel.
The class, "Biotechnology Seminar: Biomedical Applications," will be taught by Professor James Tuohy, who was selected by the national Biotechnology Institute to participate in a nationwide biotech planning program.
