Full Story:

Tucson-based Integrated Biomolecule Corp. (IBC) has announced the launch of its Pharmaceutical Analysis Group, which will provide analysis and testing conforming to U.S. Food and Drug Administration Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Analytical services can prove cumbersome and expensive to obtain, but obtaining early-stage analysis can be vital to effective drug development.

Product identification and uniformity is critical in research and development, while early detection of hard-to-pin-down impurities can cut down costly delays down the road. Early analysis also better positions the product to face the regulatory process.

The FDA's cGMP sets out regulations, codes, and guidelines for manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, diagnostics, food products, and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
