TGen/IGC headquarters honored

The Maricopa Association of Governments announced that the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and International Genomics Consortium (IGC) headquarters project was selected to receive the 2006 Desert Peaks Award.
The award is presented to agencies and individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting, recognizing, and attaining the ideals of regionalism.
The TGen/IGC project, which was honored in the public-private partnership category, is a collaborative venture between the City of Phoenix and a number of other public and private partners. The development of the headquarters is the first piece of what will soon be a 28-acre Phoenix Biomedical Campus.
