Today, Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano gave her State of the State address. Among the topics of interest to math and science teachers are her advocating for more math and science teachers, advocating for the University of Arizona College of Medicine expansion in downtown Phoenix (for future doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc.), and strongly endorsing Science Foundation Arizona, which has begun funding math, science, and bioscience education initiatives.
