Midwestern University administrators have hired 58 employees this year and plan to hire dozens more as the campus expands through 2014.
Jobs run the gamut, from security officers to research assistants to a director of student financial services. The school is searching for administrative assistants, simulated patients (at up to $40 per hour), full professors, assistant professors and a director of the clinical skills center for the school’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The recession, the drag on Valley jobs and the national spotlight on health care are helping to fuel growth at the 13-year-old Glendale campus.
