UA receives $506K stimulus grant for imaging laser used in research

[Source: Arizona Daily Star] – A University of Arizona research team has won a $506,800 grant to buy a high-tech laser system.

The imaging technology will be used in medical research, solar-energy experiments and other research applications.

The UA team includes medical imaging expert Marek Romanowski, Arizona Research Laboratories director Michael Cusanovich and cancer imaging expert Mark Pagel.
