Arizona universities make it easier for professors to commercialize inventions

[Source: Angela Gonzales, Phoenix Business Journal] – What once was a contentious relationship between professors and university technology transfer programs now is becoming more collaborative, paving the way for companies to be spun out of Arizona’s three state universities.

While the economy has put a damper on the number of biotech spin-outs, universities are doing their best to build relationships with professors and make it easier for them to commercialize their inventions.
