Arizona Bioscience News: COVID-19 in Arizona

Arizona hospitals, universities, research institutes and private labs are working to increase COVID-19 testing, including Arizona State University’s Biodesign Institute which received a $2 million grant from the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. Hospitals continue preparations for additional cases, while researchers and startups are developing products to help in the fight against the coronavirus as the number of statewide deaths reaches 32.
