Arizona Civics Bee

The Flinn Foundation sponsored the inaugural Arizona State Competition of the National Civics Bee on May 3, 2024. During the 2024 Arizona State Finals, participating 6th, 7th, and 8th graders showcased their knowledge of American civics and presented solutions to some of the biggest issues facing their communities.

Regents Cup

In March 2024, the Flinn Foundation sponsored the 2024 Regents’ Cup, a tri-university speech and debate competition which recognizes the importance of free speech and civil discourse.

Global Ties Young Diplomats 

On June 10-12, 2024, the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership partnered with Global Ties Arizona to host the 2024 Young Diplomats Summer Institute, a 2.5-day program that introduces young leaders to pathways to global diplomacy and international affairs.

In March 2022, the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership hosted a youth-oriented voter-education workshop in partnership with Morning Star Leaders as part of their Voices of Indigenous Voters Project.

The Arizona Center for Civic Leadership in June 2021 hosted the first Flinn Scholars Summer Public Policy Institute with more than 40 current Flinn Scholars participating in the inaugural institute.
