Arizona delegation brings back bioscience lessons from Ireland

Recognized for generations as an agricultural economy, Ireland now boasts one of the most successful high-tech and bioscience industries in the world. The result has been a rapid upswing in employment rates and a soaring gross domestic product. A delegation of Arizona leaders traveled to the Emerald Isle to take a serious look at how this small European nation has utilized the biosciences to turn an economic slump into a success story.
