Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Phoenix will team with Novartis, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, to test two experimental drugs that aim to fend off Alzheimer's disease in older adults who are at high risk but have not yet shown memory or thinking problems.

Dr. Andrew S. Kraft, a nationally recognized prostate cancer physician-scientist and cancer center administrator, has been named the Sydney E. Salmon endowed chair and director of the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson.
The Arizona Board of Regents on June 6 approved plans to build a 10-story, $136 million University of Arizona research building on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix.
