[Source: Station Network] – Last Friday, US Senator and former US presidential candidate John McCain, met with Luxembourg’s Minister for the Economy and Foreign Trade, Jeannot Krecké, and the Minister for Employment, Francois Biltgen, over a working lunch.
Senator McCain was in Europe to attend a NATO meeting in Brussels, but made time to stop off in Luxembourg. The subject discussed was that of was the strategic partnership initiative in life sciences with Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), based in Phoenix (Arizona), and which was implemented by the Luxembourg government in June 2008 for the development of the health technology sector in the Grand Duchy.
