[Source: The Phoenix Business Journal, Angela Gonzales] – While many medical research facilities have difficulty attracting ethnic minorities to their clinical studies, Barrow Neurological Institute has found a partner in a group of Hispanic men.

More than 20 of El Grupo’s 70 members have participated in BNI memory and Alzheimer’s studies at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. This relationship comes at a time when recent reports suggest Hispanics are at greater risk for Alzheimer’s than others.
