The Flinn Foundation, steward of Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap, has elected Cameron Black as the newest member of its Board of Directors. The 10-member board is made up of members of Arizona’s medical, business and higher education communities. Among other things, it is responsible for setting strategic direction for support of bioscience economic development and research efforts statewide.

Black is the chief financial officer and treasurer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, where he has worked since 2006. He previously served at TGen in corporate relations, is on the investment committee for Arizona State University, past president of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analysts) Society Phoenix, and former board member of the Phoenix Symphony Association.
