Conference drums up Power Over Parkinson’s

[Source: Your West Valley] – For many people dealing with Parkinson’s disease, whether patients or family members, it can be a lonely road.

Tom Viviano, director of the Arizona branch of the American Parkinson Disease Association and coordinator of the APDA Information and Referral Center at Banner Good Samaritan, said no one dealing with Parkinson’s should be left without a support system. That attitude, he said, resulted in the Power Over Parkinson’s educational conference, which was Saturday at Rio Vista Recreation Center.
