The Employment and Training Administration invites applications for its Technology-Based Learning Initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to expand access to training, resulting in an increased number of workers trained — particularly in high-growth, high-demand occupations — and to meet the needs of industry for skilled employees. Approximately 20 grants ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 for a project period of up to three years may be made. Funds will be awarded to public, private for-profit, and private nonprofit organizations, including educational institutions and registered apprenticeship sponsors.
