[Source: The Arizona Daily Star] – The Greater Yuma Economic Development Corp. and the city of Flagstaff are teaming up with Phoenix and Tucson to recruit high-wage industries to Arizona.
Adding the two groups strengthens the effort, which focuses on industry such as aerospace, solar and renewable energy, Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities Inc. said in a news release.
Flagstaff hopes to attract companies that complement the city’s existing low-impact high-wage industries, such as W.L. Gore, Southwest Windpower and TGEN North, said Stacey Button, economic vitality director for Flagstaff.
