The Flinn Foundation is hiring for two program manager positions to work in our bioscience program area.
The foundation began nearly 60 years ago with a focus on health care, and today much of our most important philanthropic work still happens in the life sciences:
● Our grants advance precision medicine, enable translational research, and improve training of care providers.
● Our programs support scientists with big new ideas and entrepreneurs ready to bring them to the world.
● We convene hospitals, universities, startups, global companies, economic-development teams, and policymakers to work together on Arizona’s behalf.
Here are descriptions of the two positions:
The Program Manager, Bioscience Research supports bioscience research programs by assisting with the management of projects and grants, identification and development of new grantmaking opportunities, development of evaluation tools to measure grant outcomes and impact, and engagement with new audiences. The position undertakes program-related research projects as needed, helping to deepen the understanding of emerging trends in the sector.
The Program Manager, Translational Bioscience and Entrepreneurship supports bioscience programs by assisting with the management of projects and program initiatives relating to translational bioscience research, entrepreneurship, and Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap, and, where needed, specific programs from the general portfolio of bioscience research programs.
Both positions are hybrid. The minimum annual salary for each position is $75,000, plus an excellent comprehensive benefits package.
