Bioscience HS explores “Technology and Our Future” at 5/12 event
WHAT: Bioscience High School hosts a community event for current students, incoming students, parents and the community focusing on technology’s impact on our future.
Guest speaker, author and ASU professor Dr. Braden Allenby will discuss some of the unexpected roles that technology might have in our future, using the film The Matrix, to prompt the discussion and analysis. Utilizing the campus’ outdoor amphitheatre and Town Hall, the small science and math-themed school was built to accommodate community events in the downtown neighborhood.
Bioscience H.S. expects another freshman class of 100-plus students for the 2009-2010 school year which will give the school all four grades (9-12th), and its first graduating class.
