[Source: Phoenix Business Journal] – The Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center and the Side-Out Foundation are partnering to target specific genes aggressively in cancer treatment.
A clinical trial is beginning at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center’s TGen Clinical Research Services, a partnership of Scottsdale Healthcare and the Translational Genomics Research Institute to find ways to improve quality of life and help keep cancer under control for a longer period.
The pilot study is supported by Side-Out, a group founded by volleyball enthusiasts to help wage war on breast cancer.
