This is an interesting study, although some of the information is a little misleading. For example, we have known for close to 25 years how these Athapaskan speakers migrated south via archaeological evidence. The main issue with the genetic evidence is to not confuse biological affiliation with cultural affiliation in Native Americans, a process that is happening as a result of some of these genetic studies – see for example the Kennewick Case and others. However, we are learning new fine-grained details as a result of this information.
