Tucson named emerging entrepreneurial hub

Tucson is one of five top emerging entrepreneurial hubs in the U.S., according to Entrepreneur Magazine, which highlights the city in its August issue. The success in Tucson is a result of the community taking “deliberate, ordered steps to surround startups with help,” according to the magazine. “All community players — investors, universities and government agencies — are involved from the start.”  The edition follows Bloomberg Businessweek’s feature on Tucson’s startup community and the Desert Angels.
