The Flinn Foundation Bio Capital Conference, formerly known as the BioPreneur Conference, is an all-day event set for March 6 at the Creighton University Health Sciences Campus in Phoenix.

The conference, “Managing Growth and VC Capital As You Scale,” will bring together investors and the startup community with a specific focus on the biosciences and health tech.

The event, a partnership between the Flinn Foundation and the Risk Capital Project Team of Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee, will feature these agenda highlights:

  • Keynote: A national view of the bioscience/life science funding landscape
  • Panel: How VC’s assess companies/investments
  • Fireside Chat: Perspective on growth and capital needs as a company scales with Louis Breton, Rampart Bioscience
  • Panel: The money is in, what’s next?
  • Panel: Growing your team as you scale
  • Keynote: Michael Gorton, founder of Teladoc, shares his insights on managing growth and investor expectations
  • Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program announcement
  • Networking lunch and reception with experts and your peers
  • Reception (4:30 – 6:30 p.m.)

Registration is $50, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and a post-conference reception.
