The Arizona COVID-19 Genomics Union, comprised of researchers from the Translational Genomics Research Institute, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Arizona, is created to track the spread and evolution of the new coronavirus through the genomic sequencing of Arizona patients. Meanwhile, 3D printing is helping to make supplies for health care workers, and a $5 million donation from the Ivy Foundation will support the purchase of masks, gloves, gowns, and other equipment.
