Flinn Foundation news release

The newest Flinn Scholars and the Flinn Scholars Program have honored 20 Arizona educators for their outstanding dedication and service. Each educator was nominated by a member of the 2008 class of Flinn Scholars for having a significant impact on their education and development. While most students honored teachers from their high schools, four recognized middle- or elementary-school teachers, including one going back as far as first grade.

The educators received plaques commemorating the occasion at the Flinn Scholars recognition dinner on May 17 at the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix.
