Arizona Town Hall on biosciences stresses importance of math and science instruction

From October 30 to November 2, over 110 Arizona Town Hall participants met at El Tovar Lodge at the Grand Canyon to discuss “Maximizing Arizona’s Opportunities in the Biosciences and Biotechnology.” Among the numerous recommendations on advancing the biosciences in Arizona was the need for stronger math and science instruction in our schools.
