U of A skin cancer researchers get major grant

Researchers from the University received $917,000 to investigate novel immune-based approaches to prevent the most common form of cancer in humans: keratinocytic skin cancers. The goal? To develop safe and effective topical treatments that can activate the body’s own immune defenses to prevent cancer before it starts.
