[Source: BUSINESS WIRE, Market Watch] – Beatriz Rendon and Steven Broadbent have joined the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) as the independent non-profit organization continues to grow and execute its mission of creating collaborations that result in improved testing methods that accelerate development of safe, new medical products.

Rendon, formerly Chief Business Officer at Tucson Unified School District, has been appointed Director of Strategic Alliances at C-Path. Rendon will use her management and legal skills to form national and international alliances for C-Path. She is charged with developing strategic partnerships and collaborations with other organizations, government, academia, philanthropic foundations, research institutions and corporations. These agreements build on C-Path’s model as a “neutral third party” that brings together industry, academic researchers and the Food and Drug Administration to improve the process by which new medical products are developed.
