The Avnet Science & Technology Fair is a state-wide event geared to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in public, private, and charter schools in Arizona. The aim is to get our children engaged in innovation and creativity around science and technology. To teach them that science is fun.

The Fair gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their problem-solving and creative skills by inventing a new product or process. Student communication and research skills are greatly enhanced throughout the invention process. Designed for students to apply basic science skills in a creative and productive manner, the Fair encourages participants to identify a need or to solve a problem.
