The Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2019 Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy.
Applications and recommendation letters will be accepted through November 12.
The Academy builds Fellows’ expertise in policy and politics and introduces them to the networks that make things happen in Arizona. The Academy will include 14 public-policy seminar sessions at the Flinn Foundation on Fridays and Saturdays in February-May 2019.
Through a highly competitive application process, approximately 25 Arizonans will be selected to join the statewide network of more than 325 Flinn-Brown Fellows from the state’s business, technology, agricultural, industry, education, nonprofit, and public sectors—and from all walks of life and perspectives.
The nonpartisan Flinn-Brown Academy and Flinn-Brown Network help experienced leaders be effective:
elected officials;
members of boards and commissions;
agency and institutional executives;
policy advisors;
statewide organization executives; and
leaders in organizations that affect public policy.
The application deadline for Flinn-Brown is November 12, 2018.
