[Source: Angela Gonzales, Phoenix Business Journal] – Phoenix Children’s Hospital recruited a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon to lead its newly created Children’s Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. David Adelson, director of the institute and chief of neurosurgery at PCH, comes from the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He brings with him a $14 million clinical trial funded by the National Institutes of Health.
The new institute brings together PCH’s divisions of neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, psychology, physical medicine, rehabilitation, neuro-critical care, neuro-radiology and epilepsy for a seamless, collaborative approach to patient care.
