We haven’t done a double-blind study or anything, but it sure looks like veterans of the journalism machine at ASU have an inside track to employment as scribes in southern Africa. See here and here, for starters.

The latest wordsmith to make the jump is Brian Indrelunas (’04), who will graduate from ASU in December. For the moment, he’s ensconced at the Cape Times as an intern (and apparently living about 30 yards from the water).

Alas, we’re locked out of reading his stories on the Times website, since we’re not subscribers. But Brian’s been kind enough to show his international readership what the articles look like from 10 feet away, here.
