[Source: The Arizona Republic] – SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, is primed to join a long list of participants in the Discovery Triangle venture that seeks to make areas of Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale a regional hub for businesses and residents.
The move comes even though a formal proposal for Scottsdale to join the three-city effort was rejected by the City Council earlier this summer. Discovery Triangle organizers say they aren’t giving up hope that Scottsdale officials may reconsider at some point.
The 25-square-mile triangle, home to Papago Park and the Phoenix Zoo, is anchored by the park, downtown Phoenix’s Biomedical District and Tempe’s Arizona State University to the southeast.
