For other Scholars who might be in the neighborhood and looking for a familiar face, we have a travel itinerary and a few amazing photos (after the jump) from NSEPer Nicole Rennell (’05), who’s spending the year in South Africa:

I have been wandering purposefully around South Africa finishing up my second semester of a year-long study abroad at the University of Cape Town. I have been working on my undergraduate honors thesis on public health and domestic violence and also engaging in community service. I have traveled fairly extensively through southern Africa, including South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique, and the Seychelles (not quite southern). I am headed to Namibia for break in two weeks and at the end of term am traveling to Madagascar, Botswana, Zambia, and maybe Zimbabwe.
